When I run internet explorer it says: Can't display page, but I'm connected to my Internet.?

OK My network is wireless, I have a laptop and a PC. my laptop connects fine. But when i try aand connect using my pc, it says internet explorer cannot display page... I check the little connection Icon in the lower right hand corner, it says that my internet is connected, I have an excellent connection and 70 mbps. anyways i am confused by this, so i decided to try and hardwire it using an ethernet cable and it still didn't work. Microsoft is a P.O.S.... I tried to talk to tech support but all they did was transfer me to different offices, after an hour on the phone I ended the call.... ANYTHING WILL HELP! PLEASE ANYONE!
