Would you date someone that is a different race than you?

I am white who speaks French and I am with a hispanic who speaks Spanish. But I notice that most of the time people will stick to their own race. I live in Miami and you have people from every culture but somehow they manage to go out with someone who speaks the same language as themselves. Spanish with spanish, english with english, russian with russian, serbia with serbia, black with black, white with white, Italian with Italian, french Canadians with French Canadians. But why? Why are people so closed minded?
