Need help with MySims for PC?

I juz downloaded MySims for PC for my lil' brother. The installation went fine but the apps fail to start. It says somehow like this ''A conflict of emulation software detected'', if I'm not mistaken. Please help, it's my lil' bro birthday, and he's really looking forward to play this game.
